My name is Jeff Davis, and I like weird things. I like learning about things like, the worlds oldest foods, such as giant cheeses buried in bogs. And where did the giant rocks at Stonehenge come from and how did they get there?
Big and small, I like stories that when you hear them, you scratch your head and say, “How Weird?”

ABOUT JEFF DAVIS
I was born and spent my early years in Vancouver, Washington. While still in high school, I joined the Army Reserves.
I spent MANY years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, serving in Italy, South Korea, Japan, Bosnia and Afghanistan in a number of positions. I started in the Infantry and retired as a military historian.
One of the highlights of my career was to putting on puppet shows at Bosnian orphanages. On the civilian side, I spent many years as an archaeologist.
I have a BS in Anthropology and an MA in Archaeology. I lived in England for nearly a year, while working on my Master’s Degree on the Vikings in Greenland and I worked for several years as a field archaeologist in the Pacific Northwest.
In addition I have written and contributed to several books on military history, ghosts, and mythology. My bestselling books were Weird Washington and Weird Oregon.
Currently I give ghost walks at the Vancouver Barracks, and lecture on the paranormal and cryptozoology.
