A Message from Ron Patton, Executive Producer of Ground Zero
Dear Ground Zero Community: Clyde’s Update From The Hospital
As many of you know, Clyde Lewis recently suffered a serious medical emergency caused by kidney failure.
He has now been in the hospital for a week, undergoing dialysis treatments and receiving physical therapy to address lymphedema in his legs.
The encouraging news is that Clyde is slowly improving.
His care team is optimistic, and we’re hopeful that he will be able to return to hosting Ground Zero in the near future. Your continued prayers, good thoughts, and positive energy mean more than you know.
Even with medical insurance, Clyde is facing a number of uncovered medical expenses tied to his condition. At the same time, his illness has significantly impacted our ability to operate:
-
Our main source of income — subscriptions to Ground Zero Plus — has stalled since Clyde has been unable to broadcast.
-
Advertising revenue is temporarily paused until he returns to the show.
-
We receive no financial support from our radio syndication.
-
And we continue to cover the costs of studio rental and staff salaries to keep everything running.
We understand it’s the holiday season, and many people are feeling financial pressure.
But if you’re able, we humbly ask for your support. Any donation amount, no matter how small, truly helps us keep Ground Zero moving forward during this challenging time.
